Now that the missing Van Goghs have been returned, I plan on returning to university soon. I have three years remaining in my university education so I am starting to plan for my career. Now that I have met Violet, I may consider transferring to a university in the US, if she decides to go back. Though we haven't discussed it, I would like to have that discussion with Violet and see what happens.

As a young Japanese man, I enjoy reading manga alone or with my friends, eating ramen while socializing and I have always had a deep passion for fine art including the works of Van Gogh. My passion for reading manga originated when I was a young boy in elementary and middle school where my friends and I would exchange and borrow each other's books. This helped my passion grow throughout my life and said passion has led me to meet and connect with wonderful people including Violet. Growing up in Tokyo, I discovered many things along my path but one that really stuck out to me was the beauty of Japanese culture. One of the many things that I adore about it is of course, ramen for its wonderful flavour and diverse selection of ingredients and toppings paired with its rich culture and ability to bring people together.  Though all of these things are very important to me, there is one that is paramount. The biggest adventure of my life so far was when a strange American girl came to my household with her father because precious Van Gogh drawings had been stolen on their way to my family's art gallery. This rose the tensions between the family that owns the Van Gogh drawings, the Yamadas and my family, the Tanakas, which would have brought great shame upon my family name. In order to restore my family name, I joined forces with Violet, the strange American girl and together we tried to discover who stole the Van Goghs. We began our investigation at my family's art gallery where we discovered clues that led us throughout Yakuza ridden streets of Tokyo.  Throughout it all I was afraid for my and Violet's life while going through the Yakuza territory.  After weeks of searching, with tensions growing between families, I was starting to lose hope until I finally discovered real evidence that a trusted inner circle member of my family gave the Yakuza access to the informat...

These events took place over the course of a couple of weeks during the year of 2012. Our quest for the missing Van Goghs led us through the Yakuza ridden streets of Tokyo and throughout my family's properties. 

Hello world, My name is Kenji Tanaka. My interests include ramen, art and creativity while exploring Tokyo with my friend. I am fluent in both English and Japanese which has helped me diversify my friend group throughout both cultures. Recently I got to meet an incredible girl, (I will not mention her name for obvious reasons) who I spend a lot of time with while she was travelling in Tokyo on family business.  Due to the fact that I was born and raised in Japan I had the ability to act as her guide and interpreter through the Yakuza ridden streets of Tokyo.
